The Book of Darkness symbol serves as both a wild and scatter. It substitutes for any symbol except the Huntress and the Dark Wizard when their combination triggers the Clash for Power feature. As a scatter, it also awards an instant payout and Scatter Free Spins. Depending on the number of Book symbols landed, players can receive payouts and free spins:
The Clash for Power feature is triggered by landing one of two specific combinations of symbols in a straight line on the reels. Players then choose their fighter in the battle between the Huntress and the Dark Wizard. Free spins are awarded, and heroes expand on the reels during the Clash for Power, filling the Hero Meter as they battle.
If the Hero Meter fills, the chosen hero wins and activates the Shadowform bonus round. In Shadowform, if the Huntress wins, players receive 10 free spins with a 5x multiplier. If the Dark Wizard wins, players receive 10 free spins with an increased number of expanding symbols to five.
